in Rapid City
Adoba Hotel Rapid City/Mt. Rushmore, Rapid City
It always amazes me that lazy days seem to be the most exhausting. Today was our laziest day thus far, and rather well-earned. We ate breakfast at the hotel at the included buffet (it was solid). Then, we walked the streets of downtown rapid city to see the president statues. Here is a preview of our adventure:
We had lunch right across from the hotel at Murphy's Irish pub.. A well-decorated rather posh pub, solid food. Adam got buffalo meatloaf.
In the afternoon, we went to Bear Country- a drive-thru then zoo set-up exhibit of local animals. In typical form, Katie liked the rain and puddles best. We also went to the Dinosaur Park at the top of the city.
