Elephant fly? Yup. Katie watched Dumbo with Grandma T a few weeks ago, and she has really enjoyed playing with her stuffed elephants.
Her favorite foods still include yogurt, yogurt drops, corn, muffins, fruit snacks. She likes saying pizza, but usually just eats the cheese off the top. She requests milk or juice or water specifically now.
Katie loves the pool and has gone from a tentative walker to a toddler playing in the baby pool. She enjoys kicking, splashing, bubbles, and playing with toys. She is very aware of the other children in the baby pool and likes to interact, share and mimic.
For independent play, Katie likes playing phone and kitchen, including making soup and tea.
She likes making a mess and then pointing it out, especially with cereal.
She likes playing pianos, real and hold size. She also likes to dance to music.
Coloring is a new interest, and we're working on limits (only on paper).
Katie has never lost interest in the TV. She plays best and more when it is on in the background. She still loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse the most.
She enjoys dolls and babies. She also likes throwing balls and identifying baseball on TV. She knows animal noises and sings old McDonald, Abc's, happy birthday and twinkle twinkle. She can play "Simon says" with actions and identifying body parts.
The last week, Katie has a love for hugs and kisses. She gets very excited when Mommy returns from work.
