Russell-Greer-Buckley Day

Today, we got to spend time with our good friends, Cappy and Megan. Cappy and Adam started teaching at McNamara together the same year. Even though Cappy left after his first year to go to grad school, they remain good friends. Cappy and Matt were both groomsmen in our wedding! Cappy met Megan at grad school and they were married 2 years ago. They have a cat and a dog and live in South Boston.
Kate Buckley was still feeling a bit under the weather, so Matt, Adam, Abbie and Katie went into DC to meet the Russells at one of our favorite places from the days when we were in Foggy Bottom more frequently: Tonic. They have tater tots :-)

After lunch, we decided against playing in DC (it was a bit windy and we were really in the mood to relax and catch-up) and headed back to Maryland. We spent a relaxing afternoon at the house in Bowie, where sick Kate could join in the fun. Megan especially enjoyed spending time with Katie!
