Katie is 3 months old today. Her interests include watching lights (tv, room lights, night lights), looking at Mom and Dad and smiling, and sleeping through the night. She is now sleeping in her own room, but still in her sleep-n-play that she was in in our room. Our next step will be moving to a crib, but currently, we're working on napping on a flat surface- most naps have happened in her swing, bouncy seat, or car seat thus far.
It always freaks out Aunt Jessie when Katie gets cross-eyed.. it's perfectly normal, but pretty freaky looking. 
This evening, we got Katie's first Christmas tree. Tonight also marked the end of the semester for Adam- this was his first semester as the department chair of the Religion Department, and he recently found out his thesis will be published as a book! Lot's to celebrate: steak dinner! mm!
