Cliff notes: mouse party, flower girl status, amazing friends and family, and god parent status.
Friday evening, Adam loaded Katie in the backpack and took her one walk. She adored it. The weekend welcomed Will's best sleep yet (3 -3hour stretches!) and the usual, silly antics from Katie, including her wanting to wear the "swim hat" and goggles. Adam and I cleaned to prepare for Katie's birthday party.
Sunday morning, Katie announced it was blanket time for her and Will. She also danced for him, and danced with Daddy. It was a fun, silly morning. Her godfather, Matt, came over early. His presents included the invitatation to be a flower girl in his wedding. Katie was told it was a party and she would wear a dress, and play with flowers.
We had a great group of friends and family come for Katie's party. The number of kids grew from last year. We had a smaller group than her big, first birthday. Aunt Danielle made amazing cupcakes and Adam cooked up a storm as usual. Katie had fun playing with Tyler and Emily. Mary Alice flew in from Boston just for the party!
Annie asked me to be her son Ben's godmother! I haven't been a godparent before, so this is both an honor and exciting!
