Modern medicine

Today was the first day of school for teachers.  We gathered with a zillion other teachers for Mass downtown this morning.  I love seeing all my St Mary's friends, my teacher/principal friends from other schools, and feeling the power in numbers the event creates.  

No stress, non-stress test....

Today I had my first non-stress test, a weekly event until William arrives. The test involves me hanging out with monitors on for 20 minutes or more. As I sit here, heart rate has been between 133 and 150, and some other number is between 43 and 47. There's one of those running tapes that looks like it's measuring seismic activity- a reminder of those contraction induced by petosin when I had Katie. 

Bored... I can't figure out how to get onto the wireless. This is my first-ever "selfie." May it be my last, too.
