Christmas Eve

The moms don't know when it started. We tried to help them pin it down, but no luck. We know the tradition started around the need for food before the Christmas Pageant Church on Christmas Eve.
This year, thanks to the great tree fall of November 2015, we were at the Hewitts. They, unlike my parents, have a full roof. Toys were transplanted and baby proofing happened.
Year ??? Of the Thompson-Hewitt Christmas Eve was a wonderful success.

The kids did well in church and grandma was lovely on the handbells. I did not melt down despite the terrible decoration-induced Deja vu (oh Fr Jeff..).
