Five quick takes on Friday:
1. Through some silliness, even though they went to Mass, I got to be the one to give my children ashes on Ash Wednesday. There was something really special about doing it with them.
2. Grandma came to gymnastics this week! Katie was very happy and a little distracted by this.
3. We did not have a complete day of school at all this week. Scheduled off Monday (Presidents Day), snow day Tuesday, and 2 hour delays Wed- Fri. Everyone was off their schedule.
4. Bodhi was the lemon dog this week. After apparently a bad reaction to bones she's had before, Bodhi destroyed our house- every room except Matt's, Will's and the library- on Wednesday when we were at work. Adam took her to the vet on Thursday and meds, special diet, and a hefty bill later, she's on the mend.
5. First Friday of Lent? Fish Fry!! William loved it and Katie was happy to be at "school" for dinner.
