Bird House

Katie went through a phase where all she wanted to watch on TV was a show called "Noodle and Doodle." The show isn't a bad one- it incorporates art, cooking and recycling. 

From this show, Katie got the idea that she really wante to make a bird house and paint it.

Guess what Target sells in the dollar aisle??!

For her birthday, Daddy and I gave Katie a bird feeder to paint. It said ages 5+ and I assumed this would end poorly.

Katie is typical in her toddler state: impulsive, impatient, and not coordinated.

Impressing both parents, Katie has patiently and carefully painted her bird feeder, piece by piece, the last two nights.

In this moment, we have underestimated her.
