"Stop Calling it a Vacation"

This title comes from a blog post I recent read. It goes onto say "call it a trip or a visit or whatever other word you can find. Just don’t call it a vacation." And it's true. I've cringed recently when people have asked about my "vacation."  The past week, I did not go to work.  I was at one of my favorite childhood spots. I went on runs, played on the beach, went to a baseball game, ate lobster, and caught up with friends and family. Please know my concerns and stress about my lack-of-vacation do not displace the fun moments I had this past week.  However, I return back to reality emotionally exhausted and physically worn out. 

We did, however, have a good week.
