The five minute rule

Last time around, I failed to document when and how we did some of our sleep and eating training.. So, here goes:
Today, after a particular telling display of a lack of self-soothing tools, we have implemented the "5 minute rule," meaning if William is fussing with no apparent reason, he gets (suffers through?) a five minute period where we allow him to try and figure it out himself first.

In other news, we went to the aquarium on Tguraday night for a members only night. It was great! Not crowded at all and given the late timing, Katie was quite the trooper.  We even saw the 4D Happy Feet movie. Katie did not like when the whale splashed her.
Will actually looked at the water/fish/lights.

Thursday night was one of those nights when Katie was convinced it was "SUNY day" at 11:00pm. Rough night for everyone except William!

Friday morning, I accosted the Jaunary grant from the Catholic business Network.

The after work, Emily and Ben (and their mommies) came over to play!

Potty and baths together! Think of it as training for when they'll be in the locker room together after swim team...
