Thus far, my goal with potty training has been exposure based. I'm in no rush to push Katie beyond what's developmentally normal, but there's also no harm in exposing her to words and actions. The kid loves flushing the toilet, too. We are doing safety-based learning, like dont play I that water...
The only time Katie actually has a potty routine is right before bath time. Why? She's already undressed, and it's easy to have her momentarily sit down. Tonight, she peed while sitting on the potty (accidentally/by chance). I made a big deal out of it. I know it won't happen again for months, but this was an exciting fluke!
