My entire life, my definition of beach, summer, and vacation have been built around the town of Chatham and my grandparents house on Hardings Beach Road.
The most amazing thing to me is seeing my mom, dad, and grandparents balance itroducing and upholding traditions of the house (rigidity doesn't even begin to encapsulate the structure of Duggan women) and break what I thought were imbreakable rules with my kids.
I'm excited for our trip to Chatham this year. I'm hopeful Will is going to enjoy the sand more. Katie remembers the house and the beach and is looking forward to it. My mom has packed enough activities and toys to last a lifetime.
