1. Soul of the City 10k
Adam and I ran our first 10k.
I went out too fast, Adam held a steady pace. Technically PRs for both of us.
Kate and William stayed with Grandma and Grandpa T and had a great time!
2. Happy Birthday Aunt Ginny
Yesterday, we went from the run to pickup the kids and off to Glen Burnie to celebrate Aunt Ginny's 94th birthday. Aunt Ginny is Adam's father's mom's sister. She lived with Grandmommy in Florida and has always been close to the Greers. It's wonderful to have her around, but she even noted that it was sad to not have "another Grandmother here." At family events like this, Gradmommy's death still leaves a void in the room. We got to see a lot of our Greer family!
3. Barnes and Noble bookfair
Saint Matthias had their first-ever Barnes and Noble in-store bookfair. With a jam-packed day, my time slot on the stage to read was 7pm- bedtime story fun! We got some books for the kids and had a lovely end to the day!
I took advantage of a window of opportunity and actually took a nap yesterday!
Katie continues to LOVE being outside and will play outside any chance she gets. She loves chalk, her lawn mower, basketball and lacrosse. She also runs everywhere! She currently has a stuffy nose.
Will is a generally happy boy who is easy to make laugh ad enjoys cuddling and being held. He still sleeps well at night and prefers to nap "on the go" (car, strollers, etc). He can roll and get up on his arms. He'll be crawling before we know it!
